In Outlook Express, click on Tools, Accounts. In the screen that pops up, click on the Mail tab. Click Add, Mail. Fill in the information requested on each screen.

If your e-mail address ends with @asheboro.com
Display Name: (type your name here)
Select I already have an email address that I'd like to use.
Email Address: type your new email address in the format username@asheboro.com
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: mail.asheboro.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.asheboro.com
Account name: username (this is the part of your email address before the @asheboro.com. Do not type in @asheboro.com in this box.)
Password: password
If your e-mail address ends with @communityweb.net
Display Name: (type your name here)
Select I already have an email address that I'd like to use.
Email Address: type your new email address in the format username@communityweb.net
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: mail.communityweb.net
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.communityweb.net
Account name: username (this is the part of your email address before the @communityweb.net. Do not type in @communityweb.net in this box.)
Password: password
The account you just created will be added to the list under the Mail tab. If you want to change the name that appears for this account, highlight that account, click Properties and change the name in the first box on the next screen. Click OK.
Repeat for any additional email accounts. Click Close when finished.
To check mail in all mailboxes, click Send/Receive, All.
To send mail from a specific mailbox, click New Mail, and in the From box, choose the email account you want to send from. |
